I stumbled upon this image, which comes from a church in Poland.  Apparently this is a not uncommon depiction of Mary Magdalene.  Here's several others: www.pinterest.com/pin/38097644… I was curious as to how this depiction of her came to be, since it doesn't seem fitting for a Catholic Saint.  Apparently since she lived in the wild for some time, her hair grew longer.  Covering her body in hair seems to overemphasize her sensuality and her sins, since she was a prostitute in her early days.  And here I thought it was just a way to keep her modest looking. witcombe.sbc.edu/davincicode/m…

A blessed creature covered in fur living in the wilds?  Is there some primal root to this idea of the Fainn I had?
